A resident of Charleston, South Carolina, Seth McAlhany has held a wide variety of jobs during his career, including certified forklift operator, line cook, customer service representative, and irrigation specialist. Seth McAlhany’s started as a front-of-house team member at Chick-fil-A.
Mr. McAlhany’s responsibilities at the latter included welcoming customers and addressing their requests, explaining menu items, providing recommendations, and taking orders. He maintained operational flow and efficiency during busy periods and kept the workspace clean and organized.
After about a year, Mr. McAlhany moved to Harris Teeter, a fresh-food market, to become a customer service representative. His duties there included responding to customer inquiries and creating and activating new accounts. He also trained new employees on procedures to strengthen team output, remaining in this position for over two years.
Mr. McAlhany joined Swig and Swine BBQ in 2021 as a line cook. He coordinated multiple orders during peak periods and maintained food safety standards. He also prepared ingredients and kept stations stocked to support consistent service, as well as operated fryers and grills according to safety procedures.
Currently, Seth McAlhany works as an irrigation specialist at Forever Green, also in Charleston. He keeps irrigation systems running smoothly by inspecting and testing installations to spot faults, repairing leaks, and making necessary adjustments to pipes. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as surfing, hiking, skiing, and playing golf and tennis.
